Amicus Curiae Series 2, Volume 6, Issue 3 Summer 2025 is now published
We are pleased to announce the publication of Amicus Curiae Series 2, No 6.3, edited by Pablo Cortés, Professor of Civil Justice, University of Leicester, one of AC’s team of Co-Editors. We open with a practice section that covers bare trusts, the McKinsey Africa scandal and India’s approach to AI regulation. Our main section follows with four research articles on consumer redress mechanisms in Nigeria; the consultation rights of long-leaseholders in the UK; the emergence of a transnational judicial community committed to upholding environmental rights; and fictional visual representations of trials and public understanding of the legal process; followed by book reviews of Galetta and Ziller’s EU Administrative Law, Sandberg’s Rethinking Law and Religion and Azubuike’s Risk Allocation and Distributive Justice in the Energy Industry.
The second half of the volume comprises a special section on ESG regulation, guest-edited by Dr Navajyoti Samanta. His guest editorial introduces seven articles on the ESG practices in seven primary jurisdictions—the United Kingdom (UK), Germany, Japan, India, China, Nigeria and Ghana authored by Horace Yeung & Omar Tahir, Alina Ganser & Andreas Rühmkorf, Kohei Miyamoto & Mikiko Takara, Dakshina Chandra & Navajyoti Samanta, Xue Pang, Ning Liu and Carlos Wing-Hung Lo, Adaeze Okoye & colleagues, and Priscilla Akua Vitoh & Jude Serbeh-Boateng.
The issue then concludes with a round-up of IALS news.
